Paul Malignaggi Teases a Future Boxing Match with Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor has kept saying he wants to fight in the UFC before this year is over, but a lot can change between now and then. A lot has actually already happened. Remember when McGregor was picking fights with Tyron Woodley and Khabib Nurmagomedov before he beat Eddie Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title? If you can’t see the magician’s trick, you need to look closer.
McGregor makes his own fights and this upcoming boxing match with Floyd Mayweather is no different. With the photos, video and all the trash talk, McGregor has set himself up with another big pay day potentially boxing Paul Malignaggi if he wants. It seems like he’s already placed the idea into Malignaggi’s head like he’s Leonardo DiCaprio from Inception.
Conor McGregor says he plans to contend in both boxing and MMA. This is a man who knows his options and keeps them open.

Win or lose at #MayweatherMcGregor, he could fight Malignaggi and still make more money than the UFC. https://t.co/lh3Vvz7KxR

Conor McGregor seems to think he damaged Malignaggi so severely, he needs to keep checking on the totem in his pocket so he knows what reality really is. He even went as far as saying he thinks he’s concussed. As with anything, the truth of all this probably lies in the middle. Well, after that footage it’s probably more 60/40. Regardless, it’s enough story for McGregor to create another boxing match. Whether Paul Malignaggi was serious with his wink-wink-nudge-nudge tweet or not, we’re sure a giant sack of cash would convince him to finally put all this controversy to rest with an actual fight.
