Conor McGregor has not stepped foot inside the octagon since UFC 205 in November of 2016 when he defeated Eddie Alvarez via second-round TKO to capture the promotions coveted lightweight title.

McGregor had entered his UFC 205 title fight with Eddie Alvarez as the promotions reigning UFC featherweight champion.

After defeating “The Underground King” in New York, Conor McGregor became the first fighter in UFC history to hold two of the promotions belts simultaneously.

The Irish superstar, McGregor, has since been stripped of both his featherweight and lightweight titles due to inactivity.

Conor’s most recent fight occured in the squared circle against undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

The blockbuster boxing match ended in a tenth-round TKO victory for Mayweather, this after McGregor surprised his critics by having a strong opening few rounds.

Conor McGregor reportedly hauled in over 100 million dollars for his fight with “Money Mayweather”, which has led to his long hiatus from mixed martial arts.

Before he can return to the octagon, “Mystic Mac” still has some legal troubles that he has to deal with. Those legal issues of course stem from his now infamous UFC fighter bus attack at UFC 223 in Brooklyn.
