Video | Anthony Pettis thinks Conor McGregor might be “burnt out”
Former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis spoke to MMAFighting’s Ariel Helwani prior to his UFC 197 bout with dangerous striker Edson Barboza.
“Showtime” took a minute to discuss UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor’s removal from the headlining bout of UFC 200, which occured after “Mystic Mac” refused to attend the UFC’s media tour to promote this summer’s blockbuster event.
Pettis said that he could sympathize with Conor’s situation explaining that McGregor may just be “burnt out” from all of his previous media obligations.
Anthony Pettis suffered a unanimous decision loss to Edson Barboza at last night’s UFC 197 event. The setback marked “Showtime’s” third loss in a row.
