VIDEO | Conor McGregor swarmed by fans on way to UFC 205 media day
UFC featherweight superstar Conor McGregor is undoubtably one of the most recognizable figures in professional sports today. With McGregor’s stock at an all-time high ahead of his UFC 205 scrap with Eddie Alvarez this Saturday in New York, where he will look to become the first simultaneous two-division UFC champion, Rolls Royce has decided to hook McGregor up with an extravagant car for his time in New York.
While the car is certainly an incredible one, it also brings McGregor quite a bit of attention when he has been traveling around New York:
Wednesday afternoon, while traveling to the UFC 205 media day, McGregor’s car was frequently swarmed with fans jockeying to take a picture with him. When McGregor arrived at the Madison Square Garden and stepped out of his luxurious vehicle, there was a massive crowd of fans waiting to greet him. Check out the video above.
As we mentioned previously, McGregor is looking to make UFC history at the event as the first simultaneous two-division UFC champion. Ahead of the fight, he has predicted that he will finish Alvarez in the first round via strikes, a feat none of Alvarez’ past opponents has been able to accomplish. On the other hand, Alvarez has predicted that McGregor will once again gas in the second round, which will lead to him getting a second round win.
