This weekend will see the return of the man who many consider to be the greatest of all time: Jon Jones. However, while his focus may be on Reyes who has been on an absolute ear at light heavyweight in recent years, Jones can’t help but bring up a few adversaries that could pop up down the road.

Johnny Walker believes he lost to Corey Anderson at UFC 244 because of his old coach. Walker was entering the fight riding high on a nine-fight winning streak including being 3-0 in the UFC with three first-round knockouts. Against Anderson, the fight did not go his way as he was knocked out in the first round.

ESPN’s Brett Okamoto broke the news of the Anderson vs. Blachowicz bout on his Twitter account. This UFC Fight Night card is set to take place on February 15, 2020, at Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

UFC light heavyweight contender Corey Anderson labeled UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones as a “casual” fan for his use of MMA math to justify fighting Dominick Reyes next. Jones wrote on Twitter that he wants to fight Reyes next instead of Anderson, and used the fact that Ovince Saint Preux knocked out Anderson while Reyes dominated OSP as the reason for why Reyes is the more dangerous opponent.

The Ultimate Fighter seems happy to sit and wait for his title shot, which isn’t something that Smith can understand.

Unfortunately, he believes Jones is avoiding the matchup because of the high risks it poses. “I’ve been saying it since last year when I called for the fight,” Anderson told MMA Fighting. “He tweeted me saying, ‘You want the smoke?’ I answered back I want it right now. All of a sudden, he started dilly-dallying around my name, calling other people out. He’s avoiding me. He called me out thinking I would hesitate. I want that. I need that. I wanted that when I came here.

UFC light heavyweight contender Corey Anderson says he has no interest in a fight against fellow 205lbs contender Anthony Smith. Speaking to SiriusXM’s Fight Nation, Anderson said he won’t fight Smith next. “Lionheart” called out “Overtime” on social media after Anderson knocked out Johnny Walker at UFC 244, but it appears as though Anderson is not interested in fighting Smith at this time. UFC light heavyweight Corey Anderson addressed rumors that Johnny Walker taunted him backstage before their fight at UFC 244. According to Anderson, Walker didn’t say anything to him despite UFC commentator Dan Hardy claiming the Brazilian was talking smack before the fight, allegedly telling Anderson he would “knock him out.” Walker was upset with Hardy for saying he was trash-talking Anderson in the tunnels backstage before they fought and made a post on Instagram criticizing Hardy for saying so. Hardy took to social media to respond to Walker, saying that he believed the story was true about Walker talking smack because Walker taunted Anderson during the fight.
