PFL women’s featherweight Superfights champion Cris Cyborg has called out Claressa Shields. The current Bellator women’s featherweight champion returned to the cage last month in Saudi Arabia. There, Cris Cyborg finally made her PFL debut against former tournament winner Larissa Pacheco. Despite the 39-year-old entering the cage as an underdog, she turned the clock against her Brazilian counterpart.

PFL and Bellator women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg has her sights set on Misfits Boxing star Jully Poca. The Brazilian is fresh off her return to the cage in the co-main event of PFL pay-per-view offering on Saturday. Back in the cage for the first time since knocking out Cat Zingano last October, Cris Cyborg faced Larissa Pacheco. For her part, the latter entered the cage riding a ten-fight winning streak, handing Kayla Harrison her only career defeat in that stretch.

Cris Cyborg may be closing in on life after MMA. Cyborg shared the PFL SmartCage with Larissa Pacheco this past Saturday. The two collided for the PFL Super Fights Women’s Featherweight Championship. Pacheco gave Cyborg all she could handle, causing cuts above both her eyes early in the fight.

We have you covered for all of tonight’s PFL: Battle of the Giants pay-per-view results, including the women’s featherweight title fight between Cris Cyborg and Larissa Pacheco. Cyborg (27-2 MMA) will be competing for the first time since scoring a first-round TKO victory over Cat Zingano at Bellator 300 in October of 2023. The former UFC champion has gone 6-0 since making the move the Bellator in July of 2019.

It appears that former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is again at odds with Cris Cyborg. ‘Rowdy’ is seemingly retired from fighting these days, but her impact on the sport is impossible to ignore. Ronda Rousey came to the UFC straight from Strikeforce, making history as the first woman to fight for Dana White. From 2013 to 2016, she remained one of the most popular members of the roster.

Bellator champion Cris Cyborg is down for a move to the UFC to finally fight Kayla Harrison. The Judoka famously debuted in the promotion in April, fighting Holly Holm at UFC 300. The bout was Kayla Harrison’s first outside of the PFL, and ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ was her first test. Ultimately, she passed the test with flying colors. Harrison dominated the former champion, ultimately scoring a second-round stoppage victory.

Cris Cyborg isn’t opposed to boxing Claressa Shields, but she needs some serious coin to do so. Cyborg and Shields have been friendly in the past, but the two have revved up some trash talk more recently. It’s clear that both Cyborg and Shields believe there is money to be made in a potential showdown inside the boxing ring. With that said, the money has to be substantial.

It appears that Cris Cyborg and Larissa Pacheco are the latest fighters to come out against the PFL. The Donn Davis-led company has had an interesting few months. Late last year, the PFL finalized their purchase of Bellator. While Scott Coker and other key executives were leaving the company, most of the roster was to stick around. After the purchase, PFL had a bolstered roster with the likes of Cris Cyborg, Patchy Mix, and more.
