Dan Hardy announces that he's been medically cleared to fight again
Tom Taylor - October 5, 2018
Former UFC welterweight title challenger Dan Hardy has not fought since September of 2012, when he was pulled out of competition as the result of a rare heart disorder called Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome. The condition is not usually dangerous, but Hardy has been kept out of the cage ever since as a precaution. While Hardy has kept plenty busy in the years since, working as a commentator and analyst for the UFC, and even penning a book, it sounds like a return to the cage is in the cards. In an interview with Sherdog.com, the 36-year-old Nottingham native announced that he’s been cleared to fight again, should he so choose.
Dan Hardy criticizes Herb Dean for delaying CB Dollaway stoppage
Tom Taylor - September 19, 2018
Last Saturday, on the UFC Moscow card, middleweight veteran CB Dollaway stepped into the cage with Russia’s Khalid Murtazaliev. The fight got tremendously ugly for the American. Toward the end of round two, CB Dollaway found himself in bottom position, absorbing a meteor shower of ground strikes unleashed by Murtazaliev. Before long, it became clear that Dollaway was in danger, as he absorbed repeated blows to the head, and failed to adequately defend himself. Despite this grim scene, referee Herb Dean did not stop the fight. Instead, he let the round end, at which point an exhausted, barely-conscious CB Dollaway essentially had to peeled off the canvas.

Tyron Woodley and Dan Hardy Get Into It About The Champ's UFC Criticisms
Justin Golightly - February 14, 2018
If you’re on Twitter enough, you’ll start thinking a lot of tweets are about you. Some may be straight up intended to insult you, other “sub-tweets” could be directed at your character without outright saying your name. Now, imagine instead of Joe Schmoe, you’re a high-profile UFC fighter. The amount of tweets a day alone – positive or negative – have to be just overwhelming. Yesterday as Tyron Woodley scrolled through his feed, he saw a curious tweet from ex-UFC fighter Dan Hardy, then a big debate unfolded in public. It is not befitting of a world champion to whine so much. A champion is someone that represents courage and strength. An ability to endure difficult circumstances and push on. How is it not obvious that this characteristic negatively affects marketability?

One of those moments occurred in the main event of the UFC’s most recent trip to London, England, which went down earlier this year. In that main event, England’s own Jimi Manuwa scored a crushing, first-round knockout over the talented Corey Anderson, sealing the deal with a blistering left hand. Tom Taylor - March 6, 2017
Last weekend, in the main event of UFC 209, welterweight champion Tyron Woodley defended his title with a majority decision over Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.
