At UFC 199, Michael Bisping stepped in to fight then-UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold on short notice after Chris Weidman pulled out of the fight with a neck injury just 2-weeks before fight night. Bisping went out and won the fight in the very first round to claim the middleweight championship. Earlier on the card, MMA legend Dan Henderson put on an incredible comeback as he defeated Hector Lombard via 2nd round KO. Given that both men won their fights, Henderson is hoping to get a rematch with Bisping, this time for the middleweight championship.

The 45-year-old landed a head kick on Lombard and then hit him with an elbow that caused “Lightning” to fall crashing to the canvas in the bouts second-round.

In addition, Henderson is a former Strikeforce champion, and has numerous highlight reel knockouts with his signature ‘H-Bomb’. With that being said, many wonder what the 45 year old has left to accomplish in the sport he helped evolve. More trouble struck the UFC on FOX 19 card on Wednesday as news broke that former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida declared the usage of a banned substance during an out-of-competition sample collection last week. With the fight just days away, opponent Dan Henderson was already in Florida in preparation for the fight.

Machida was subsequently pulled from his upcoming rematch with Dan Henderson on Saturday at UFC on FOX 19, with Henderson being re-booked for a fight with a different opponent at a later date.

Prior to the setback, Henderson has snapped a two-fight losing skid by earning a brutal KO victory over Tim Boetsch in less than a minute at UFC Fight Night 68.
