UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis has given his thoughts on those who scored the UFC 297 main event in favor of Sean Strickland – including Dana White. Last Saturday night, Dricus du Plessis defeated Sean Strickland in the main event of UFC 297. In doing so, he became the new king of the middleweights. It was an incredibly tight and tense affair, with UFC CEO Dana White even noting that he scored it 48-47 in favor of Sean Strickland. As it turns out, quite a few fans and media members felt the same way.

McGregor (22-6 MMA) and Chandler (23-8 MMA) served as opposing coaches on Season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter in the Spring of 2023. The original plan was to have the pair fight at December’s UFC 296 event, but the bout was ultimately pushed back due to various reasons.

In May 2014, the UFC was looking to book a light heavyweight title rematch between then-champion Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson. The two had their first encounter back in September 2013, and it eventually earned a spot in the Fight Wing section of the UFC Hall of Fame. Jones won the fight via unanimous decision.
