Dana White goes off on “moron” Brendan Schaub, Schaub fires back with “bald fat guy” diss

By Tom Taylor - July 12, 2018

At this point, most fight fans know that UFC President Dana White and former UFC heavyweight turned podcaster Brendan Schaub are not fond of one another. This week, their tense relationship resulted in yet another skirmish — in the comments section on an Israel Adesanya Instagram post…

Dana White, Brendan Schaub

It began when Schaub gave his take on the ability of elite kickboxers to transition to MMA. Adesanya, who is a kickboxing transplant himself, shared a clip of this segment of Schaub’s podcast, insinuating that he disagreed with what Schaub was saying.

Then, in the comments section for this post, Dana White encouraged Adesanya not to take Schaub seriously. Schaub then fired back at White.

“Such a f—kin tool!!!!” White said of Schaub (via MMAMania). “What the f—k does this idiot know about the sport or the business??? @stylebender for u to be listening to one word from this MORON is a waste of ur time. Guy went 6-5 in the UFC!!! The only thing he could teach u is how to get KO’d. Tune idiots like this OUT.”

“@danawhite whoooooooa look who got a break from folding Ronda’s laundry to jump on instagram,” Schaub said in response to White “Bravo sir. He’s right @stylebender what do I know listen to the bald fat guy who has never been in a fight in his life. Do that.”

From there, Schaub backtracked, explaining that he was referring to kickboxers like Gokhan Saki, not Adesanya specifically. While this looked like an attempt to diffuse the situation, however, he then assured that he is not afraid to “release the hounds” on White.

“I’m playing nice,” Schaub said on Twitter. “I am not his friend. If he continues I will release the hounds. I was gonna save it for my book but…”
