Dana White not expecting Brock Lesnar to make another UFC return

At UFC 199 in June, it was announced that former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar would be making his highly anticipated return to the Octagon against Mark Hunt.

Controversially, Lesnar was granted an exemption from the first three months of USADA’s drug testing to make him an eligible fighter in the eyes of the organization. This led to quite a bit of controversy, which only escalated once Lesnar won the fight. To make matters even more controversial, it was then announced that Lesnar had failed not only his fight night drug test, but also his pre-fight drug test.

This led to Mark Hunt going on a string of rants bashing the UFC for not coming down hard on Lesnar for the infractions. At the present time, Hunt is still refusing to fight unless a provision is put in his contract so that he is protected in the event that his opponent fails a drug test.

Recently, Lesnar was handed a one-year suspension, and a fine, from the NSAC for the failed drug tests. While his return at UFC 200 was a dominant one, UFC President Dana White stated in a recent interview with TMZ that he doesn’t think Lesnar will ever return.

“I doubt it,” White said of another Lesnar comeback. “I don’t know how much longer he’s got with WWE. I think his career is winding down. But he’s a freak of nature, so who knows? Maybe he’ll give me a call and say he wants to do it again, but I think he’s ready to ride off into the sunset.”

Lesnar of course is still doing work with the WWE, making a handful of scheduled appearances throughout the year. With that being said, and given the fact that Lesnar is nearly 40 years old, do you think he will ever return to the Octagon?
