Dana White unapologetic for bashing his fighters: “most of them deserved it”

By Tom Taylor - August 21, 2018

Dana White is not shy about his opinions. The UFC President will let loose on pretty much any subject — and that includes the fighters he promotes.

Over the course of his reign as the UFC President, he’s bashed dozens of UFC stars, from Anderson Silva, to Georges St-Pierre, to Stipe Miocic, to Tyron Woodley, and most recently, Francis Ngannou. And while he typically finds himself under fire when he makes disparaging comments about the fighters that put their health on the line to fatten his already distended wallet, he won’t be making any apologies.

Why? ‘Cause they all deserved it. At least, that’s the way he sees it.

“Guess what, this isn’t the fun business,” Dana White recent told Fox News. (transcript via MMA Weekly). “You don’t get to go out and put on a terrible performance and act like you just did something incredible. The guys that I went after and the guys that I did that to, if you watched their performances and what happened that night, most of them deserved it.”
