Logan Paul fires back at Dana White after UFC snub: “You have no idea what I’m capable of”

Shortly after his boxing match with fellow YouTube star KSI, Logan Paul began expressing interest in a potential fight inside the UFC’s Octagon.

“The thought of securing a fight in the [UFC] is exciting… could finally use my wrestling background…” Paul said on Twitter. “But I hear some other celebrities/athletes want to catch these hands first?”

Unfortunately for Logan Paul, UFC President Dana White doesn’t seem interested in letting a YouTube star fight in the UFC, assuring he’d wind up getting hurt — despite his boxing and wrestling experience.

“Look, I have no hate for him,” Dana White said of Logan Paul during a recent media scrum. “Look at the business that guy has built on YouTube and the number of pay-per-views they did on YouTube. They did 800,000 [buys] at 10 bucks for two guys that fight fans have never heard of.

“So he’s built a great business for himself and good for him. But trust me, don’t play around over here. You will get hurt.”

For Logan Paul, however, these comments from Dana White don’t hold water. In his eyes, Dana White shouldn’t be acting like the integrity of the sport is a priority after giving former WWE star CM Punk a shot in the Octagon.

“Damn. you’re thinking real simple D,” Logan Paul said in responds to Dana White on Twitter. “‘He would get hurt badly.’ You let CM fight. Stop acting like you do it for the sport. Pay check = fight. You have no idea what I’m capable of.”

While Logan Paul brings up a good point here, Dana White has previously addressed the CM Punk argument. He seems to consider it a different situation.

“I know everyone is going to say, ‘You let CM Punk fight in the UFC,’” White explained. “CM Punk is one of the greatest guys you could ever meet. He’s a super good guy, he’s very passionate about the sport, and he put his reputation and everything on the line to come fight here, and I respect him for it. Obviously it didn’t work out for him, but he’s got a lot of heart and a lot of balls to do that.”

Do you think Dana White should give Logan Paul a shot in the Octagon?
