Logan Paul ‘would get murdered’ if he fought in UFC according to Dana White

YouTuber Logan Paul has been stirring up some rumours that he wants to fight in the UFC after his big payday in a boxing match against fellow YouTuber KSI.

Logan Paul

Paul was a wrestler in the state of Ohio, arguably one of the best wrestling states in the country. While he does have a wrestling background, UFC President Dana White doesn’t seem to adamant to let Paul fight in the UFC.

During a media scrum following UFC 229’s press conference, White claimed he can be put behind bars if he let the YouTube sensation fight in the Octagon.

However, even though White claims he wouldn’t let him fight in the UFC, if he did as a hypothetical, White sees it ending badly for Paul.

“That guy would get murdered here,” White told the media recently. “He would get hurt badly. If I ever let him fight in the UFC, I should be arrested.”

The only combat sports experience Paul has is the six-round amateur boxing match against KSI, where he fought to a draw.

Why this talk of Paul to the UFC has so much momentum is because Sage Northcutt called him out. While Northcutt wasn’t enough, UFC Hall-of-Famer Urijah Faber also backed his protege in the fight against Paul.

Although the Northcutt vs. Paul fight could happen — given Northcutt is a free agent — it sure won’t happen on a UFC event.

“No hate for the kid,” White added. “Good for him. Look at the business that guy has built on YouTube and the number of pay-per-views they did on YouTube. They did 800,000 at $10 for two guys that fight fans have never heard of. He’s built a great business for himself, great for him, it’s awesome.”

The UFC boss seems impressed of what Paul and KSI did, he has one last bit of advice for Paul if he is serious about pursuing an MMA career.

“But trust me, don’t play around here. You will get hurt.”

Although White says he won’t allow Paul in the UFC, there is no question he would help sell some pay-per-views similar to the whole CM Punk experiment. We have seen White change his mind on things like this before, so maybe it isn’t totally out of the possibility if the numbers are right.
