Nate Diaz (21-13 MMA) has not fought since he suffered a decision loss to Leon Edwards at UFC 263 in June 2021. Diaz and Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA) were originally scheduled to fight back at UFC 230 in 2018. However, the bout never came to fruition and both men blamed each other for pulling out first. Since then, they have taken aim at one another, both trying to make a match happen.

Dana White has revealed his top three MMA fighters of all time and provided a fourth name that is closing the gap. The debate over who is the greatest MMA fighter ever remains an ongoing discussion. There have been so many great fighters like Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre, Anderson Silva, Daniel Cormier, and Khabib Nurmagomedv among countless others. Yet, White revealed his top three on Tuesday and said Kamaru Usman is closing the gap to enter that list.

Michael Bisping on the latest episode of ‘Believe You Me’ podcast, dismissed the suggestion from Henry Cejudo that Dana White is scared to put him back in the cage. “Scared? Why would he [Dana White] be scared? It’s always like I’m sticking up for Dana on here, which I don’t want people to think I am. But, in this situation, listen: Henry Cejudo did great things. Ok, he was a two-division champion but he stepped away from the sport.”

In an open letter to Spotify earlier this week, 270 doctors, scientists and other medical professionals voiced their concerns over misinformation and ‘baseless conspiracy theories’ surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic which have been put forth on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

Henry Cejudo, after defending his bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz at UFC 249 on May 9th, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida, ultimately made the decision to retire. However, after Max Holloway withdrew his name from a trilogy fight with Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 272, Cejudo (16-2 MMA), threw his name into the mix. Apparently a title shot against Volkanovski would be enough to bring ‘Triple C’ out of retirement.
The UFC parts ways with four more fighters

Official announcements have yet to be made but sources recently informed MMA Junkie that the UFC has parted ways with another four fighters. While these sources wish to remain anonymous, it should also be noted that it has not been confirmed if these moves were outright releases or contracts which were not renewed.

Heavyweight knockout artist Mark Hunt has offered a ultimatum to Dana White and the Fertitta brothers (Frank and Lorenzo). Hunt filed a lawsuit against the Ultimate Fighting Championship shortly following his fight with Brock Lesnar at UFC 200. ‘The Super Samoan’ claimed that the promotion put him in the cage with a fighter in Lesnar, who he says the UFC knew was using PED’s. The court case was originally dismissed in 2019, however the appeals court decided to reopen the cases on fraud and battery in September of 2021.
