Dana White won’t enforce any COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the UFC anytime soon. As the global pandemic gets closer to departing our lives, the UFC has done its best to return to normality — as evidenced by the return of fan-filled arena events. But with the coronavirus not yet 100 percent out of our lives, certain locations and businesses have begun requiring vaccination.

Stipe Miocic has been offered and accepted a fight against Jon Jones, UFC president, Dana White revealed. Ever since Jones vacated his light heavyweight title the plan was for him to fight at heavyweight. However, “Bones” has yet to make the move but according to White, they have offered him Miocic, and the former heavyweight champ has already accepted it. But, they are waiting on Jones to see what he wants to do.

Luke Rockhold was not happy with the “stupid” matchmaking tactics used by Dana White for his upcoming fight with Sean Strickland at UFC 268. Earlier this week the UFC President told reporters that he had offered Rockhold a fight with recent main event winner Sean Strickland. However, according to the former UFC middleweight champion no formal offer was ever made and White’s remarks were just a negotiation tactic.

On September 11 at the Staples Center, De La Hoya will end his retirement to box Belfort in an intriguing matchup. Both men are past their prime and for White, he hopes the former UFC champ in Belfort wins and wins violently.

Bellator president Scott Coker challenged UFC president Dana White to a UFC and Bellator cross-promotion fight with AJ McKee. McKee finished Patricio Pitbull in the main event of Bellator 263 on Saturday night to become the promotions new’s 145lbs champion and the winner of the $1 million grand prize. Just 26 years old, McKee is now a perfect 18-0 in MMA. By taking out Pitbull, who is one of the best featherweights in the world, it showed that “The Mercenary” is one of the best at 145lbs regardless of promotion. McKee is so good, in fact, that Coker believes he matches up well against the best featherweights that the UFC has to offer, including current UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and past champ Max Holloway.

UFC welterweight contender Gilbert Burns understands the recent criticism from Dana White, saying that “he wants my fight to be a banger.” Burns defeated Stephen Thompson in the co-main event of UFC 264 earlier this month, but White criticized his performance, suggesting that it wasn’t an exciting fight. At the end of the day, Burns did what he needed to do to get his hand raised. While it wasn’t the standup war that apparently White had hoped for, Burns fought a smart game plan as he took down a superior striker and controlled him on the mat for a unanimous decision victory.

Dana White believes Conor McGregor has chronic arthritis in his ankles which played a factor in his leg-breaking at UFC 264. In the main event of the pay-per-view card, McGregor and Dustin Poirier had their highly-anticipated trilogy match. Early on, the Irishman had success but “The Diamond” got him down and landed some heavy ground and pound. When McGregor got back up to his feet he threw a steep kick and after that, when he threw a punch his leg broke. According to White, that was due to the fact McGregor has chronic arthritis.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul revealed that he had a recent phone conversation with UFC president Dana White ahead of last week’s UFC 264. Logan Paul and his brother Jake were both recently in attendance at UFC 264 and they had great seats to the event, thanks to White. Speaking on a recent edition of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, the older Paul revealed that he received a phone call from White the day of the Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier 3 card that was quite surprising, to say the least.

Former lightweight kingpin Khabib Nurmagomedov has a theory as to what Dana White and company are going to do with Conor McGregor following UFC 264. McGregor suffered his second consecutive defeat to Dustin Poirier last weekend, a loss which served as the third in his past four fights. Adding salt to the wound was the fact that the defeat came in part due to a broken tibia.

UFC president Dana White told the UFC fighters not to expect $75,000 bonuses on the regular, saying it would “seriously f*ck up our budget.” White and the UFC increased the bonuses from $50,000 to $75,000 for UFC 264 and with the athletes having even more motivation, fans were rewarded with some amazing performances. At the end of the night, the promotion gave $75,000 each to bantamweight Sean O’Malley and Kris Moutimnho for “Fight of the Night,” and $75,000 to heavyweight Tai Tuivasa and also to middleweight Dricus Du Plessis for “Performance of the Night.”

UFC president Dana White issued a hilarious response when he was asked about sharing a shoey with UFC 264 winner Tai Tuivasa. Tuivasa knocked out Greg Hardy in the first round of their UFC 264 heavyweight bout for his third straight win inside the Octagon. Following the fight, Tuivasa scaled up the Octagon wall and took part in a shoey celebration as he poured a full can of beer in his shoe and then drank it. Tuivasa then walked to the back and as he was going past the fans in the crowd, more of them were giving him their beer and shoes so he could continue doing shoeys. The shoey is Tuivasa’s signature move at this point of his career and is most commonly associated with him as he was the one who brought it into the mainstream.

UFC president Dana White reacted to Gilbert Burns defeating Stephen Thompson at UFC 264, saying that “it wasn’t a good fight, but he won.” Burns and Thompson were the co-headliners underneath the main event trilogy fight between lightweight stars Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. Although he entered the fight as the betting favorite, Thompson lost the match as Burns was able to take him down and control him on the mat to win a unanimous decision win. It wasn’t the most exciting fight to watch by any means, but Burns did what he had to do to go out there and get the win.

UFC president Dana White shared his picks for the most overlooked fights heading into this Saturday’s blockbuster UFC 264 pay-per-view card. The main event of UFC 264 is a trilogy fight between rivals Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. This is the fight that all the fans can’t wait to see, but there are also 12 other fights on the card, and some of them are getting lost in the shuffle. Taking to his social media, White told fans about two fights that he thinks are being overlooked ahead of UFC 264.

Donald Trump, the former U.S. president will be in attendance for UFC 264 on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. White had hinted that UFC 264 would have more celebrities in attendance than any other UFC event. On Wednesday, he then revealed to TSN some of the many celebrities that will be there include Trump, Justin Biber, Megan Fox, and Kourtney Kardashian among others.

UFC president Dana White justified creating an interim heavyweight title for UFC 265’s main event between Ciryl Gane and Derrick Lewis. The main event of August’s UFC 265 pay-per-view was expected to feature UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou vs. Lewis for the undisputed title. However, Ngannou was not ready to go on August 7 in Houston, Texas, and with Houston native Lewis still on the card, White and the UFC went ahead and booked Gane for an interim title fight, despite the fact Ngannou just beat former champion Stipe Miocic back in March.
