UFC president Dana White criticized referee Chris Tognoni following the controversial Jessica Rose-Clark fight at UFC Vegas 11. Tognoni has been in charge of several controversial fights the last few months, including the recent light heavyweight bout between Mike Rodriguez and Ed Herman that saw Rodriguez robbed of a TKO win. A similar situation happened at UFC Vegas 11 during the women’s bantamweight bout between Rose-Clark and Sarah Alpar.

UFC president Dana White says he has to have a conversation with welterweight star Donald Cerrone after his fight at UFC Vegas 11. Cerrone toughed it out and fought to a draw against Niko Price in the co-main event of the evening. After getting dominated in the first round, the referee took a point from Price for an eye poke and so the round was scored 9-9. The second round was once again all Price and he won it 10-9, but Cerrone had a strong third round and won it 10-9. With the point deduction, the judges scored the fight as a majority draw.

UFC President Dana White shared his thoughts on Colby Covington defeating Tyron Wooldy by way of TKO during tonight’s UFC Vegas 11 post-fight presser. The promotions former UFC welterweight kingpin, Woodley (19-6-1 MMA), had entered tonight’s grudge match with Covington looking to rebound from a two-fight losing streak. In his most previous efforts, ‘The Chosen One’ had suffered unanimous decision setbacks to Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns respectively.

UFC president Dana White says he is not a fan of UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya dancing his way into the Octagon. Adesanya has an elaborate dance routine as he makes his way into the Octagon, with his walkout at UFC 243 when he fought Robert Whittaker being the most memorable. Most UFC fighters just walk into the Octagon when it’s their time to fight, so Adesanya certainly stands out when he does his dance. While some fans and media think it’s fun, White is not a fan of what Adesanya does before he enters into the UFC cage.

UFC president Dana White says that aging warrior Donald Cerrone “needs to win badly” when he takes on Niko Price at UFC Vegas 11. Cerrone is one of the greatest fighters of all time and is a surefire UFC Hall of Famer when it’s all said and done. Just last year he was on a three-fight win streak against Al Iaquinta, Alexander Hernandez, and Mike Perry, but ever since then it’s been a tough go for “Cowboy.” Cerrone has lost his last four fights in a row against Anthony Pettis, Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje, and Tony Ferguson, leading some to suggest he should retire.

White has been busy handing out contracts during the fourth season of the Contender Series. UFC President Dana White wasn’t impressed by a perceived refereeing blunder in a UFC Vegas 10 light heavyweight fight between Ed Herman and Mike Rodriguez. Mid-way through the fight, Herman appeared to be dropped by a groin shot, and was given some time to recover by the referee. However, an instant replay of the sequence seemed to show that it was a body shot that caused Herman to double-over, not a groin shot. Nonetheless, Herman was given several minutes to recover, and ultimately ended up winning the fight by submission in the third round.

Bellator President Scott Coker has fired back at Dana White for suggesting that ex-UFC fighters who have joined Bellator were let go by the promotion. Back in August, Coker made headlines when he proclaimed that Bellator had the best light heavyweight division in all of mixed martial arts. In his defense, Coker’s comments came immediately following the news that longtime UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was vacating his title in order to move up to heavyweight.
