Dana White reacts to NSAC verdicts on Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor and Jon Jones

On Tuesday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) convened to make crucial decisions on the futures of Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jon Jones. The NSAC began by disciplining Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov for their UFC 229 post-fight brawl. McGregor received a $50,000 fine and a six month suspension, while Nurmagomedov received a much steeper $500,000 fine and a nine-month suspension that can be reduced to six months if he completes an anti-bullying PSA.

Former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington was recently mentioned as a potential opponent for Darren Till — that was before Till was booked to fight Covington’s training partner Jorge Masvidal. Covington, however, was not interested in this fight, maintaining that, as the recent interim champion, he has earned a title shot against undisputed champ Tyron Woodley.

Though Cerrone was then booked for a fight with Alexander Hernandez, he once again called for a fight with McGregor after beating Hernandez at UFC Brooklyn on Saturday night. And this time around, McGregor answered. Evidently impressed by Cerrone’s victory over Hernandez, Conor McGregor announced that he is willing to accept the fight.
