By now fight fans are aware of the altercation that occurred Wednesday afternoon during the UFC 202 pre-fight press conference between Conor McGregor and Team Diaz. The altercation saw objects thrown across the room while UFC President Dana White, UFC exec Dave Sholler, and a security team attempted to regain control of the situation. Thursday morning, Dana White no-showed a scheduled appearance on popular radio show ‘Mike & Mike’ through ESPN.

One of the first questions that was asked was in regards to the reports of the formation of a fighter’s union this month after Mark Hunt called for fighters to unionize following the news of Brock Lesnar failing 2 drug tests surrounding his UFC 200 fight with Hunt.

Earlier this week, UFC president Dana White stated that current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor would be returning to 145-pounds for his next fight, this after he squares off with Nate Diaz at UFC 202 next weekend. With that said, Conor would be returning to featherweight to have a title unification bout with current interim champion Jose Aldo, who McGregor defeated via first-round KO at UFC 194 in just 13 seconds.

At UFC 201, a fan tweeted to White that his seats were in a terrible spot as his view was blocked by some of the production equipment.

In the wake of the UFC being sold for $4 billion, Top Rank Boxing CEO Bob Arum decided to take the opportunity to criticize the UFC and it’s fighters for a string of failed drug tests. Prior to the event, Jon Jones was pulled from the card for a potential USADA anti-doping violation, and after the event it was announced that Brock Lesnar failed a pre-fight drug test in June, as well as a fight night drug test the night of UFC 200. Arum also went as far as to accuse the UFC brass of being corrupt.
