Rumblings were going on that heavyweight contender Stipe Miocic turned down a fight with former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones when Jones offered to go up to heavyweight and fight for a title and save the UFC 196 card.

Dana White responds to Aldo's rematch request

Recently former UFC featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo took to social media to campaign for a rematch between himself and Conor McGregor. Aldo revealed that he wants a fight with McGregor regardless of whether or not it’s for the belt, and he won’t accept anything less. Aldo lost to McGregor in 13 seconds at UFC 194, which apparently leaves the UFC in a tough spot when it comes to making an immediate rematch.
