Rumor: UFC sale is done

After a report Tuesday evening indicated that there has been progress in the Fertitta brothers and Dana White selling the UFC, BJPenn.com spoke to a source regarding the situation who informed us the word on the street is that the sale is complete.

Initial reports about the UFC’s sale emerged quite some time ago, however UFC President Dana White was quick to shut them down as he informed fans that the UFC isn’t for sale.

That was followed up by a report which stated that the trio were looking to sell a portion of the UFC, while maintaining majority control, in order to make a move into the Chinese MMA market.

So far there has been no word yet on whether or not the sale being talked about at the present time is for a portion of the company, or the UFC in its entirety.
