Daniel Cormier brings in 6’9 kickboxer to help him train for UFC 200
On July 9th, Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier will have their highly anticipated rematch for the undisputed UFC light heavyweight championship in the main event of the historic UFC 200 card.
Ahead of the rematch, UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has enlisted the help of professional kickboxer and mixed martial artist Chi Lewis-Parry. Lewis-Parry is a 6’9 pro kickboxer currently signed to Glory WS with a 6-1 kickboxing record, and a 6-0 pro MMA record.
Given Jon Jones’ incredible height and reach advantage over DC, it’s no surprise that the champ is looking to prepare for the situation. Do you think training with Lewis-Parry will be enough to help DC retain the title?
