Darren Till and Kamaru Usman get heated over possible UFC 219 scrap

Originally, rising UFC welterweight contender Kamaru Usman was expected to battle the dangerous Emil “Valhalla” Meek at UFC 219. Unfortunately, it sounds like visa issues could force Norway’s Meek out of this planned showdown – which means Usman will have to look elsewhere for a dance partner.

The “Nigerian Nightmare” has wasted no time in the hunt for a UFC 219 foe. Over the last few weeks, he’s been ceaselessly calling out Colby Covington, and on Tuesday, he also directed a callout to red-hot British contender Darren Till, who was quick to respond.

Kamaru Usman is currently undefeated in the UFC’s Octagon, having dominated Hayder Hassan, Leon Edwards, Alexander Yakovlev, Warlley Alves, Sean Strickland, and most recently, Sergio Moraes, since joining the promotion’s roster.

Till, on the other hand, also boasts an undefeted grade in the UFC, having defeated Wendell de Oliveira, Jessin Ayari, Bojan Veličković, and most recently, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in the Octagon.
