That being said, it doesn’t sound like the Argentine knockout artist expects to get his desired fight with the welterweight king. Woodley essentially told Ponzinibbio to get in line post-fight, and now the streaking Argentine feels like he’s being ducked.

Nutritionist is confident Darren Till can hit 170 pounds "with ease" for years to come
Tom Taylor - September 13, 2018
One of the big worries ahead of UFC 228 was that main event title challenger Darren Till might not make the 170-pound limit for his fight with welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. The Brit had missed weight previously, after all, most recently for his May welterweight bout with Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. In the end, of course, Darren Till did even better than hit the 170-pound limit for welterweight title fights. He surpassed it, tipping the scales with a pound to spare at 169 pounds, instantly silencing his legions of doubters and skeptics.

In the opinion of Till’s nutritionist, Eoghan Gallagher, a protege of famed MMA nutritionist George Lockhart, there’s no cause for concern with respect with Till’s weight cut. Speaking to MMA Fighting at the UFC 228 fighter hotel in Dallas, Texas this week, Gallagher assured he’s “110 percent” sure Till will be on weight on this fight.
