Tom Taylor - May 24, 2018
There was a time, not all that long ago, when “Platinum” Mike Perry and Darren Till seemed to be on a collision course. Perry was riding high on the momentum of back-to-back knockouts of Jake Ellenberger and Alex Reyes, while Till had just authored a violent first-round knockout of Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. “I’ve got my eye on Mike Perry,” Till called out moments after he clobbered Cerrone. “You and me were meant to fight!”

With his big fight just a week away Till took the time to discuss his world-class striking opponent with MMAnytt and said he believes Thompson didn’t want to take this fight.

Tom Taylor - May 11, 2018
On May 27, in the main event of the UFC’s debut in Liverpool, England, Darren Till will take on two-time welterweight title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson in a bout that is far and away the biggest test of his career thus far. If Till topples this momentous challenge, he expects to become one of the most sought-after fighters in the stacked UFC welterweight division. In fact, he expects to become the division’s so-called “money fight,” which means divisional king Tyron Woodley will be banging on his door, and not the other way around. To Till, that implies a welterweight title fight inside Liverpool’s famous Anfield stadium.

Darren Till Ready to 'Devastate Stephen Thompson's Life' if He Ever Signs the Contract
Justin Golightly - March 21, 2018
Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. We still have awhile before UFC Liverpool, but the UFC did their big, snazzy announcement package with Darren till front-and-center yet he still doesn’t have an opponent. Till has been eyeing number one contender Stephen Thompson, but he may not be fully healed by May 27th. Regardless, that won’t stop Darren Till from calling him out. “I made it all happen. I worked hard and believed in myself. People can climb on this train or jump off. I do not care. I did it all. I asked to face Robbie Lawler or Jorge Masvidal [at UFC Liverpool]. I know they talked to Masvidal, but he said he would not be in shape in time. I do not know who my opponent will be, but I do not care. Stephen Thompson is a great striker. He’s smart, he’s not a brawler. His style is very well thought out, just like mine is as well.”
Jorge Masvidal goes off on "little jealous b*tch" Kamaru Usman
Tom Taylor - March 21, 2018
Yesterday evening, UFC welterweight contenders Kamaru Usman and Darren Till engaged in a heated back-and-forth on Twitter. Shortly thereafter, Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz involved several other top welterweights with a followup Tweet – including Jorge Masvidal, who didn’t take kindly to what was being said. Here’s how it all went down.
Kamaru Usman Puts the Welterweight Division on Blast, Darren Till Responds
Drake Riggs - March 20, 2018
The UFC’s 170-pound weight class is easily one of if not the best and deepest division they have to offer. However, none of the many top talents have any fights booked at the moment. And some are starting to get a little antsy. Those of which include the likes of rising contenders, Kamaru Usman and Darren Till. Till has been vocal about wanting to just fight whoever and where ever. He now has the date set for May 27th in his home of Liverpool, England but no opponent. Today, the “Nigerian Nightmare” Kamaru Usman took to Twitter to put the division(and Till) on notice. In which the outspoken Brit would respond resulting in some fun banter.
VIDEO | Jorge Masvidal Gives Props to Darren Till But Tells Him UFC Liverpool is Too Soon
Justin Golightly - March 19, 2018
When Darren Till got announced as the headliner for UFC Liverpool, patient fans finally had a reason to celebrate. Till would finally return after his destruction of tough-as-they-come Donald Cerrone at UFC Gdansk back in October of last year. Unfortunately, we can’t get too stoked though, he still doesn’t have an opponent. On the long list sits Jorge Masvidal, who’d love to fight Till, but he just can’t make it to the Scouser’s backyard that fast. “[Darren] Till. I’d love that fight, man. I think the dude is talented. He’s young, he hungry, he stepped up to the plate when he fought Cowboy [Cerrone]. I got nothing but respect for that dude. His performances before that — again, the kid’s good — but when he had his toughest fight, he came, he showed up, he did what he had to do.”
Is UFC Liverpool's Headliner Darren Till the Un-Fightable Man?
Justin Golightly - March 17, 2018
The UFC’s big announcement yesterday was that Darren Till would finally be fighting again. Not only would they make up for the downtime between his devastating finish of Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC Gdansk, but they’d put him as the main event for the UFC’s first trip to his hometown. Against who though? Well, that’s the problem. Till called out Stephen ‘Wonderboy” Thompson once again, but his hand may or may not be healed by then. Till then moved on to Jorge Masvidal today, but Masvidal can’t make it as early as May 27th. I just spoke to former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson who informed me that the UFC has NOT reached out to him about fighting Darren Till at UFC Liverpool in May. #UFCLiverpool https://t.co/2VWAy4gxoR

BREAKING | Darren Till Wants to Fight Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC 224
Justin Golightly - March 7, 2018
We haven’t seen Darren Till since his incredible and lightning fast finish of Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone at UFC Gdansk in October of last year, but you can’t hold that against the Scouser. He’s had a long list of potential opponents that’s getting longer including Gunnar Nelson, Stephen Thompson, Santiago Ponzinibbio, and Kamaru Usman. Now you can add former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos to the list. “[I want to fight Rafael dos Anjos] just because of his fan base there and I’ve obviously lived there. I’ve got a lot of fans there, and I can speak the language. It would be a good sell in Brazil, if he’s willing to do it. I know he’s waiting for [Tyron] Woodley but Woodley doesn’t seem to want to come back. The Americans need to see the new breed. I think ‘Wonderboy’ is still gonna avoid me. Apart from Conor [McGregor], everyone is anticipating my comeback more thank anyone else. It will be big.” — Darren Till speaking to MMA Fighting.
VIDEO | Darren Till Warns Everyone Should be Afraid of Him Because He's a 'Vicious C-nt'
Justin Golightly - February 27, 2018
For those who are wanting to see Darren Till back in action, they may get their wish soon. The UFC are coming back to Dublin in May and coach John Kavanagh dropped a big hint at what the main event might be. It looks like Till may finally get to fight Gunnar Nelson on May 27th. Not only is Till not worried about the potential fight, but he wants to put two — yes, two — divisions on notice that they should be terrified of his evil self. “I couldn’t give a sh-t about the welterweight division. I could care less. At the end of the day, the title is coming to me no matter what. It’s coming to me. I’m not worried about the welterweight title or the middleweight title. I’m worried about the light heavyweight title. I know I’m gonna get the welterweight title. […] I’m not scared of Gunnar [Nelson]’s grappling, I’m not scared of [Kamaru] Usman’s wrestling, I’m not scared of [Tyron] Woodley’s power, and I’m not scared of [Stephen] Thompson’s karate. I don’t give a f-ck about any of them. I’m not scared of any of them. They should be f-cking scared of me because I’m a vicious little c-nt, that’s what I am.”
Gunnar Nelson's Coach Reveals Good News and Bad News About Darren Till
Justin Golightly - January 30, 2018
Have any of you ever heard of the Bermuda Triangle? It’s that loosely-defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, where aircraft and ships seem to disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The UFC currently has its own kind of nefarious location that match-ups seem to vanish over in London. Michael Bisping was all but confirmed that he’d retire at the card, but that is off the table. Stephen Thompson, along with Gunnar Nelson, were in talks to fight Darren Till, but neither of those are going to happen either according to John Kavanagh. I’m sure [Darren] Till will make his own statement, but I believe he’s ill. He has however agreed to face [Gunnar Nelson] later in the year. [We wish him a] speedy recovery. However, for now we need someone for March 17th. So. if you’re a UFC welterweight, get onto [matchmaker] Sean [Shelby] and get paid. Hope to get matched soon. I can tell you UFC have asked almost every welterweight who’s not currently matched or injured and everyone busy that night [at UFC London] for some reason? A chance to main event a good European show and everyone is getting their hair washed. Bizarre.” — Coach John Kavanagh on Twitter.
