Derrick Lewis shows no mercy with social media post following KO over Travis Browne
Derrick Lewis is now on a six-fight winning streak in the UFC heavyweight division. On Sunday, Lewis scored a huge win by knocking out Travis Browne in the main event of UFC Fight Night 105, which took place in Halifax, Canada.
Following the fight, Lewis took to social media where he posted an edited photo of Browne laid out on the canvas.
Lewis had no problems with putting Browne out as many people believed referee Mario Yamasaki waited a bit too long to call an end to the fight.
“I appreciate [the late stoppage]” Lewis said during the post-fight press conference. “Where’s [the referee] at? I’ll give him $1,000. I appreciate it for letting the fight go a little longer than it would, because I just want to get all my anger out on Travis’ face anyway, because he likes to hit on women. So I appreciate him for doing that.”
In his Octagon interview, “The Black Beast” brought up Browne’s alleged history of domestic violence.
“I just knew I had bigger heart than him,” Lewis told Brian Stann in the Octagon after his win. “He calls himself a man but he likes to put his hands on women, so forget that guy, I’ve got much more heart than he has.
“Where Ronda Rousey fine ass at?”
Lewis has proved to be a savage as he is talking the talk and also walking the walk.
