Report: Diego Brandao faces consequences from UFC for felony charges

UFC featherweight Diego Brandao has found himself in a world of trouble after an alleged incident in Albuquerque, New Mexico that resulted in his arrest.

“The Ultimate Fighter 14” winner was arrested on April 14th after an incident outside of a strip club. Brandao allegedly pointed a gun at several people and pistol whipped an employee of the club. Brandao was charged with three felony charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and another for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Sherdog reports that their sources close to the situation are claiming that Brandao has been released by the UFC.

The UFC has yet to make an official announcement regarding the release of Diego Brandao but did release a statement following his arrest.
