Donald Cerrone says he’s waiting on official call from the UFC
The search for an opponent for Conor McGregor at UFC 196 is still underway.
Since Rafael dos Anjos withdrew from their UFC 196 lightweight title fight on March 5th, there has been much speculation as to who will fill-in on short notice to fight McGregor.
Fresh off his win over Alex Oliveira on Sunday in Pittsburgh, Donald Cerrone has offered to step in and take the fight, and is already working to cut weight for the fight. In addition, former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis has offered to take the fight on short notice.
While Cowboy was running on the treadmill earlier, saying that it’s “go time” now he is at the pool, where he is waiting on the official call from the UFC.
Pool time! Anyone, anywhere. I'll be ready. Just waiting on this call pic.twitter.com/0xwjnenI2Z
