UFC welterweight veteran Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone is one of the most fearless men in all of MMA and he has made that very clear over the years.

Whether it be from his in the cage antics and frequency to take fights or all of his crazy non-fighting related activities and hobbies, Cowboy has had a crazy life.

Today the former UFC and WEC lightweight title challenger got somewhat of a wakeup call though as catastrophy struck during a deep sea dive. Cerrone took to Instagram to detail the “scariest moment” of his life.

Today I can honestly say I’m Happy to be alive. We had catastrophic worst case scenario on our dive. Total silt out , lost the cave line and lost my buddy couldn’t see my own hands was the most scariest moment to this day in my life. I remember kissing Danger and Lindsay and saying I’ll see y’all soon, don’t worry daddy’s coming home!!!! Told the grim reaper “ Not today Mother F*cker “ I’m figuring this the fuck out and coming home !!

Thankfully Cerrone did indeed come out of everything okay.

The now 35-year old Cowboy just recently welcomed his very first child to the world as he references him and his fiance in the post.

No matter the time of year, Cerrone always finds himself doing fun and wild activities. Even when he has a fight coming up…as he does right now.

At UFC Denver on November 10th, Cerrone will take on his newest JacksonWink teammate, “Platinum” Mike Perry in the night’s co-main event.

For Cerrone, this will be his first fight since his main event loss to Leon Edwards at UFC Singapore in June. Cerrone is 1-4 in his last five outings with that lone win coming against Yancy Medeiros in February.
