However, it hasn’t been for a lack of trying. The 38-year-old has had two fights canceled in the span of a month and a half.

The veteran lightweight standouts were expected to collide this evening in a fan-friendly affair. However, MMA Journalist Ariel Helwani recently took to Twitter where he revealed that the Donald Cerrone vs Joe Lauzon fight has been called off.

Immediately, the promotion began looking to get the fight rebooked and the two will now meet at UFC Austin. For Lauzon, he says he still got paid for the canceled fight.
