Kennedy has since endorsed Trump before the Republican candidate’s battle against U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris.

In the main event of that pay-per-view card, Dustin Poirier faced lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. Entering the contest, the longtime fan favorite was a massive underdog. However, Poirier admitted that the bout could be his last and that he was willing to go out on his shield.

Earlier this year, the podcaster had independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his show as well.

On Monday, while doing Adin Ross’ live stream on Kick, Trump revealed Nurmagomedov is his favorite fighter of all time, which caught many by surprise.

He shot Trump in his right ear before the U.S. Secret Service eliminated the gunman and escorted the former president from the scene.

UFC CEO Dana White spoke with former U.S. President Donald Trump on the phone just hours after a gunman attempted to assassinate him at a rally in Pennsylvania. Trump was in the middle of a speech at a campaign rally in Butler, PA on Saturday when a gunman opened fire from a nearby rooftop, striking the former president in the right ear. U.S. Secret Service eliminated the suspected gunman,  Thomas Matthew Crooks, within seconds of the shooting.
