UFC Boise gets yet another great scrap as Eddie Wineland meets Alejandro Perez

The UFC’s upcoming stop in Boise, Idaho, continues to get better, and better, and better. The latest addition to this shockingly stacked Fight Night card is a bantamweight battle between former WEC bantamweight champion Eddie Wineland, and the streaking Alejandro Perez.

Wineland, who once fought for the UFC interim bantamweight championship, last competed in April of 2017, when he gave up a decision to John Dodson. This loss was preceded by back-to-back TKO wins over Takeya Mizugaki and Frankie Saenz. He is currently 23-12-2.

Perez, meanwhile, is on a three-fight streak, having recently bested Andre Soukhamthath, Iuri Alcantara, and Mathew Lopez. He owns an impressive UFC record of 6-1-1 and is 20-6-1 overall.

The UFC’s stop in Boise will be headlined by a bout between former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos and former World Series of Fighting heavyweight champion Blagoy Ivanov.

Other highlights of the card include a lightweight bout between Paul Felder and James Vick, a bantamweight bout between Cat Zingano and Marion Reneau, a featherweight bout between Chad Mendes and Myles Jury, and a featherweight bout between Darren Elkins and Alex Volkanovski.
