Nate Diaz’s boxing coach Richard Perez spoke with BJPENN.com earlier today and gave us his take on how the Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz rematch at UFC 200 will play out.

Perez, along with many MMA fans on social media, believes that Diaz will have an easier time with Conor in the rematch because Nate has already seen what McGregor can offer and will have a full training camp to work with this time around:

“Oh for sure. Because to be honest with you, I mean Nathan wasn’t even really training. I mean sure he trained a little bit here and there but not like to be ready for two weeks notice. You know, we trained those first two weeks. But I mean yeah it is going to be about the same. I mean Nathan is going to be in better shape and he will be better as far as conditioning. And fighting he will be sharper. So that’s the way I see it.”

When asked for a prediction on how the fight will end this time around, Perez responded with the following statement:

“Well I mean it might go one round or two rounds. You never know. But I believe that Nate is going to tap him out or knock him out. I mean because once he gets him to the ground McGregor doesn’t stand a chance. I mean standing up either. Sure he goes out kicking and trying to be fast but Nate already knows what he can do and he’s going to be in better shape and a lot sharper. So yea, I think Nate will stop him inside two.”
