Leonard’s opponent is Cody McKenzie and this fight was scheduled to take place at UFC 155, but due to injury it will now go on at UFC 159 after Leonard took on Max Holloway in a bout that was considered controversial. We will talk to Leonard about his career, training at Jackson’s and the new gameplan and more controlled “Bad Boy” we saw in his last fight, getting a shot at the fight that was set to take place months ago, his future and so much more. Leonard is one of the guys who has been on the show more times then I can remember and an interview you don’t want to miss when he’s on our Microphone. “This Is Jiu-Jitsu” is a film that’s being supported by members of Renzo Gracie’s NYC Academy. The purpose of the film is to document the history, the stories, and the culture of what makes BJJ what it is worldwide. Think about it there has never been a film like this made since the start of the sport. Jiu-Jitsu is one of the biggest parts of Mixed Martial Arts and a huge reason that the UFC even exists. Just as importantly, it speaks on the the McDojo syndrome that’s become prevalent in the last several years with schools teaching BJJ without having a serious lineage or credentials to support their teaching.

Justin grew up around a gym and by nineteen he was a six-time national kickboxing champion, two-time St. Louis’ Golden Gloves boxing tournament champion, and had over 150 amateur kickboxing wins. We will talk to Justin about his time inside the Ultimate Fighter house, training with Alliance MMA, and even the move in weight class.
