Floyd Mayweather Teases Fans: ‘I’m Not Coming Back…But’
Floyd Mayweather Jr. has barely been retired and he’s already messing with fans about him coming back.
Let’s be clear, there are very few people out there who actually believe that the undefeated boxer will stay retired for very long. He beat Andre Berto easily in his 49th win and most believe that he’ll eventually come back to get that coveted 50th win. If he were to come back and win one more, he would break Rocky Mariciano’s record.
There are some who hope that he might come back and fight either Amir Khan or do another fight with Manny Pacquiao, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
While at a recent boxing event on FOX Sports, Mayweather sat ringside with the commentators and when asked about him returning, had a little fun with the fans.
Saying:
“I’m not coming back…but,” Mayweather joked, then added, “I’m just happy to be on the other side.”
Do you guys expect Mayweather to come back eventually, or is he gone for good?
