Francis Ngannou begs Brock Lesnar to return to the UFC: Give me that f**king fight!
Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract could wrap up after WrestleMania this April, and UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou is hoping that means Lesnar will return to the Octagon.
Speaking on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour, Ngannou begged the hulking pro wrestler to return to the UFC, where he hopes they can fight.
“Please Brock, come back, come back my friend. We need you here,” Ngannou said (h/t MMAFighting). “We need you to put the fun in this division. I need you to give me that f*cking fight I’ve been waiting for for a long time, I’ve been dreaming for [it].”
“It’s up to what [the UFC] want to give me,” he added. “There are a lot of people out there who want to fight me. I saw Mark Hunt, he would be a great one. By myself, I want Brock. Brock Lesnar.”
“I like the fight. He look like — I don’t know if you ever seen this guy, he looks very, very big and strong. And I really want to try that.”
While Ngannou has his crosshairs locked on Brock Lesnar, he’s recently been called out by boxing heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, who has been flirting with a move to MMA.
“I heard Anthony Joshua say he’s gonna fight in MMA and if he wants to face me and I was like, ‘Hey, you’re welcome, man,’” he said. “We gonna do it both sides, in the Octagon and inside the ring.”
Ngannou has also recently been called out by heavyweight knockout artists Mark Hunt and Derrick Lewis, but for him, the most desirable name of the bunch is still Lesnar.
“Listen, there are the three [fighters] who want me and me, I want Brock,” he said.
