Report | Former UFC owner Frank Fertitta considering purchase of NFL Team
Frank Fertitta – brother of Lorenzo Fertitta – made a killing selling his stake in the Ultimate Fighting Championship last year. Billions and billions of dollars, to be more precise, and that sum was merely added to his already significant pile of gold.
In the wake of this insanely massive transaction, Frank has made a number of extravagant purchases, like a $70 million penthouse in Manhattan.

Apparently, though, Frank’s billions are still burning a whole in his pocket.
According to NFL insider Jason La Canfora, the uber-rich Fertitta bro is leading a group with interest in purchasing the Carolina Panthers NFL Team.

As La Canfora specifies, Frank would need to let go of his remaining casino holdings if he were to purchase the Panthers. It was the casino business that allowed the Fertitta brothers to purchase the UFC from Semaphore Entertainment Group back in the year 2001.
Needless to say, the Fertitta family’s massive influence on the sporting world doesn’t appear to be over.
What do you think of Frank Fertitta’s plan to purchase the Carolina Panthers?
