Gennady Golovkin was not impressed by Canelo Alvarez’s ‘boring’ unanimous decision victory over Daniel Jacobs last night in Las Vegas.

Canelo was able to outpoint Jacobs and with the victory unified the WBA, WBC and IBF middleweight titles.

Despite the accomplishment, ‘GGG’ was less than impressed by Canelo’s performance.

Gennady Golovkin took to Twitter with the following assessment of the Alvarez vs. Jacobs fight.

“I saw no emotions, nothing special today. It was a nice sparring match.  Boring.  They should have given more to the fans.” – Gennady Golovkin

Golovkin (38-1-1, 34 KO’s), who lost his WBA, WBC and IBO titles to Canelo via controversial decision in September 2018, will return to the boxing ring on June 8 at Madison Square Garden for a fight with Canadian Steve Rolls.
