The first bout announced by the promotion was a key light heavyweight bout featuring former title challenger Glover Teixeira taking on perennial contender Misha Cirkunov.

Glover Teixeira has gone 2-2 over his past four contests. In his most recent octagon appearance, Teixeira suffered a fifth-round knockout loss to Alexander Gustafsson.

Prior to the setback, Glover was coming off a decision victory over Jared Cannonier.

Meanwhile, Misha Cirkunov was last seen in action in May where he suffered a first-round knockout loss to top contender Volkan Oezdemir.

That loss snapped Misha’s impressive eight-fight win streak which included victories over Nikita Krylov and Ion Cutelaba.

Also announced tonight was a middleweight scrap between Nate Marquardt and Cezar Mutante which will go down on November 11 in Virginia.
