Heather Hardy Releases a Statement on Her Bloody Loss Last Night

By Justin Golightly - October 21, 2017

Last night, champion boxer Heather Hardy stepped into the Bellator cage to earn another victory after her successful debut. Unfortunately for her, Kristina Williams came in there like a woman on a mission. That mission? Destroy her opponent in devastating fashion. Such is the story of the fight game. One hyped contender loses and a new prospect uses them to launch themselves. Heather Hardy is taking the loss like the champion she is and addressed the public on social media, sharing one of the many brutal and disturbing pictures from the fight last night.

Heather Hardy

I’m sorry I let everyone down. I gave it my all out there, and I truly hope it showed. I’d rather lose then give y’all a boring fight because I appreciate every one of you… sponsors, coaches, friends, family and fans… and the worst part was knowing I couldn’t get the job done for all of you. . Congrats to a game Kristina Williams, who had an answer for everything I tried. OSU! . And incase everyone is wondering, YES, I will be back. Nothing will ever take the fight out of me, not even this broken nose. I knew coming into this new world I was taking a big risk, and this is all part of my journey. . You’ve all heard how resilient I am. Now watch me bounce back. 👸🏼🍀❤️ Heat ⭐️ a special thank you to @bellatormma @dibellaent @shihandevon @danielgracie @fenix2317 #coachnick @jlewbags @hillimpact @dekalbmarkethall @foragersnyc for all your support ⭐️

If you watched the fight, you should already know Heather Hardy doesn’t have to apologize to anyone. She endured severe punishment and had her nose erupted like Rory MacDonald, but never showed any signs of slowing down or giving up. She’s a warrior who, although seasoned in boxing, is very new to MMA. Just like Hardy said, let’s watch her bounce back. Heal up, Heather Hardy and much respect.
