It appears that we may be losing out on one of the three potential super fights that have recently been teased to us. At least for now…
Henry Cejudo’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz tweeted out that he will be rematching the UFC flyweight champion, Demetrious Johnson, some time in the Summer.

It's a different fight. Henry is a different fighter. They fought years ago, I can see henry finishing him via tko. But Demetrius is an amazing fighter also.

Johnson and Cejudo first fought at UFC 197 in April of 2016. The fight didn’t last very long as Johnson finished Cejudo with strikes in just the first round. Since then, Cejudo has gone 2-1 and shown very impressive improvements. He had recently been campaigning for a fight with Tim Elliott, but this is definitely a much bigger matchup for the former Olympic gold medalist.
For the champion, “Mighty Mouse”, he has gone 3-0 since fighting Cejudo and looked close to as perfect as one can in all three fights. Specifically the Wilson Reid and Ray Borg fights(the Borg fight being his record breaker for most consecutive title defenses by a UFC champion ever with eleven).
Rumors were swirling that the next time we would see Johnson would be against the current bantamweight champion, TJ Dillashaw in a flyweight super fight. Dillashaw has been wanting this fight ever since he and Cody Garbrandt didn’t happen at UFC 213 due to an injury that forced Garbrandt out of that meeting. The fight didn’t take place, Dillashaw went on to defeat Garbrandt for the title and now he was looking to try and set this fight back up. But it looks like he may have to wait and try and defend his own title.
What do you think of Johnson vs Cejudo 2? How much better of a chance do you give Cejudo if any better at all?
