Bruce Buffer shares post-fight picture with “true warrior” Holly Holm!
Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion of the world Holly Holm put forth a valiant effort in her bid to dethrone current UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg last night in Las Vegas.
Unfortunately for fans of “The Preachers Daughter”, Holly Holm came up short on the judges scorecards after twenty-five minutes of back and forth action.
The Brazilian bomber, Cris Cyborg, was able to find a home for her heavy right hand early and often in last night’s UFC 219 main event fight with Holm.
Holly was seen wearing the damage in this post-fight photo with UFC announcer Bruce Buffer, check it out.
“@HollyHolm is true Warrior both in “Victory & Defeat”… Words cannot describe my respect & fandom for her… I feel so honored to call her my friend. She is a true example of “To Be Great Is To Be Humble” 🙏 #UFC” – Bruce Buffer
Since starting her professional mixed martial arts career a perfect 10-0, which included a brutal head kick knockout of Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm (11-4) has since gone 1-4 over her last five fights.
Holm’s lone win in that time came against former bantamweight title challenger Bethe Correia who she defeated via knockout (head kick) at UFC Fight Night 111 in Singapore this past June.
Holly’s most recent losses have come to Miesha Tate, Valetina Shevchenko, Germaine de Randamie and Cris Cyborg respectively.
