Cyborg To Undergo Drug Testing Before Next Fight
Top female fighter Cris “Cyborg” Justino is on the comeback trail, but before she returns the California State Athletic Commission plans on making sure she’s clean.
Cyborg is set to defend her Invicta featherweight title against Charmaine Tweed on February 27, but before she can defend that belt, she must get licensed.
In 2011, while under the Strikeforce banner, Cyborg tested positive in the state of California for Performance Enhancing Drugs. It’s because of that, she must reapply for her license to fight and undergo drug testing. The CSAC has confirmed a urine test has already taken place with results expected back the week of her fight.
