Jeff Molina expected a grinding type of fight against Zhalgas Zhumagulov. Molina knew Zhumagulov was going to be the toughest test of his career even though the 33-year-old was just 1-3 in the UFC entering the fight. ‘El Jefe’ said Zhumagulov didn’t get enough respect and was anticipating the grueling back and forth fight. However, despite the win, he is ultimately disappointed in his performance.

Jeff Molina is sharing his disappointment after receiving fan backlash for wearing pride month shorts at UFC Vegas 56. Jeff Molina (11-2 MMA) met up with Zhalgas Zhumagulov (14-7 MMA) at UFC Fight Night last Saturday, June 4th. The flyweight fighter won the bout but apparently drew criticism over his attire.

Jeff Molina is finally healthy. Molina is coming off a second-round TKO over Daniel da Silva back in October to improve to 2-0 in the UFC. After the win, he made it clear he was going to take several months off and rest until he was fully healthy. That is finally the case as Molina will return at Saturday’s UFC Vegas 56 event against Zhalgas Zhumagulov.

UFC flyweight Jeff Molina issued a statement following his insane, “Fight of the Night” war against Aoriqileng at UFC 261. Molina and Aoriqileng are not big names and their bout was just the second fight of the night on a stacked event that featured three title fights, so you can forgive fans for not expecting it to play out the way it did. But oh boy, did these two flyweights deliver, as both men traded heavy leather in the center of the Octagon for 15 minutes in an all-out brawl that won each man $50,000 for “Fight of the Night.” It was an absolutely insane fight made all the better because of the live crowd in Jacksonville, Florida cheering the fighters on.
