Jedrzejczyk plans to give Gadelha an “IV, steroids, USADA book” as a pre-fight gift

UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has been busy training for her upcoming rematch with top contender Claudia Gadelha.

The bitter rivals, Jedrzejczyk and Gadelha, just recently completed the filming of The Ultimate Fighter Season 23, where they served as opposing coaches.

Joanna spoke to The MMA Hour about her experience filming “TUF” and what she plans on giving her nemesis as a pre-fight gift this time around:

“It was nice,” the champion said of the filming of TUF for Fox Sports 1 on Monday during an appearance on The MMA Hour. “Very good experience. I’m very happy about that I was part of. I used to do the same reality show in Poland. Little bit different. Small production, but was more for TV, for people to sell it, but TUF is known. People bring emotions, situations and this what I like about it. I cannot wait when I’m going to watch it on FS1. But the most important fight is going to be July 8,” Jedrzejczyk noted. “That’s all. It’s going to be better than that one.”

July 8 is the date when Jedrzejczyk and Gadelha will square off for a second time, the pairs first encounter ended in a razor-close split decision win for Joanna.

Jedrzejczyk told MMAFighting that she has a pre-fight gift for Gadelha this time around:

“IV, steroids, USADA book.”

So does Joanna really believe Claudia is a steroid user?

“I don’t know. It’s her problem. I know that so many fighters got smaller after USADA came into UFC. She called me fat, but I’m happy. When I put on weight, I’m happy and my fiance is happy, too.”
