If that’s true, Colby Covington has probably made quite a bit of money over the years. The man known as ‘Chaos’ has been involved in some major welterweight fights and this past weekend, he was in another when he challenged Leon Edwards for the UFC title. Unfortunately for his fans, he didn’t produce a good performance, and he subsequently fell to a lopsided defeat.

Last weekend at UFC 291, Justin Gaethje was able to defeat Dustin Poirier via knockout. In doing so, many believe he set himself up for a UFC lightweight title shot. Of course, Charles Oliveira is getting the next crack at Islam Makhachev in October, but Gaethje may well be waiting for the winner.

Rousey (12-2 MMA) has not competed in MMA since suffering a devastating beatdown at the hands of Amanda Nunes in December of 2016. That setback to ‘The Lioness’ marked Ronda’s second straight defeat, as she was previously knocked out cold by Holly Holm in November of 2015.

The first will be UFC Fight Island 7, headlined by a featherweight fight between Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar, on Saturday, January 16. Next up will be UFC Fight Island 8, headlined by a welterweight clash between Neil Magny and Michael Chiesa, on Wednesday, January 20. The fun will conclude on Saturday, January 23 with the stacked UFC 257 pay-per-view, headlined by a lightweight clash between top-5 contenders Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.
