Jon Jones wants Anderson Silva to keep fighting: “He still has it”

Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva suffered a unanimous decision loss to Michael Bisping at yesterday’s UFC Fight Night 84 event in London.

The setback marked Silva’s third loss in his past four octagon appearances, his lone win in that time coming over Nick Diaz, a fight which was eventually overturned to a no-contest after both men flunked their post-fight drug tests.

At 40 years of age, many fans were left asking ‘what’s next’ for the future UFC Hall of Famer after the tough loss.

One fan asked former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones for his take on if Anderson Silva should come back and fight again, to which “Bones” replied with the following:

“Absolutely. I saw many glimpses of greatness during that fight. He definitely still has it.”
