Daniel Cormier trashes ‘Cialis boy’ Jon Jones in heated rant
Last night, in the main event of UFC 210, light heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier defended his title for the second time with a second-round submission defeat of the dangerous Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. With this win, the champ set himself up for a possible rematch with his biggest rival – former champion Jon Jones, who was stripped of the title after a long list of troubles outside of the cage, and then suspended after a failed drug test in July of 2016.
During the UFC 210 post-fight presser, Cormier weighed in on Jones’ recent insinuation that he is a dirty fighter, and the possibility of a rematch with the former champ. Cormier did not hold back.
“It’s like you sit there, and you take a table, and you put a bunch of kitchen appliances,” Cormier said (via MMA Junkie). “Then at the end of one side there’s a pot. Then on the other side there’s a kettle. Then that pot starts yelling, ‘You’re dirty’ while he’s sitting there with a steroid needle. That’s my opinion on that. You sit over there, pot, with your Cialis or whatever that sh*t is called. Get over there, sit over there pot in the kitchen. Cialis boy.”
“The thing about the whole Jones thing is I would always fight Jon Jones – I’ve always said that,” Cormier continued. “I’ve always been here. This whole time I’ve been here. Jon Jones is the one that hasn’t been here to fight again. When I lost to him in January of 2015 I knew we would fight again. I knew it was just the beginning of a series of fights with him and I would have. I said it in the build-up, ‘This is just number one. We will have several fights.’ But we just haven’t been able to come together. So of course I’d fight Jon Jones.”
