Jon Jones defends his performance against “OSP”
Jon Jones returned to the octagon this past Saturday in Las Vegas, where he scored a unanimous decision victory over Ovince Saint Preux in the main event of UFC 197, capturing the promotions interim light heavyweight title in the process.
“Bones” five-round decision victory over “OSP” was not what some fans and analysts had expected.
Even UFC president Dana White stated that Jones looked like had some “ring rust” and added that Jon was fortunate for not having to fight Daniel Cormier at the event.
Jones took to Twitter on Sunday evening to defend his UFC 197 performance:
Some nights Jordan scored 60 other nights he would score 20. I'm just going to be grateful and keep winning.
