It is no secret that former UFC light heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones (21-1 MMA) is not a fan of Daniel Cormier.

With that said, “Bones” still has a ton of respect for “DC’s” talents and believes that Cormier will have no issue getting by former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar in their upcoming yet to be announced heavyweight title fight.

“I’m definitely very excited to see Cormier fight Brock Lesnar,” Jones said in a recent interview with a Russian news outlet. “I think Daniel Cormier wins the fight. He’s just too fast. I feel like when I fought him he was quicker than me with certain combinations. I can only imagine he’s going to be a lot quicker than Brock Lesnar.”

Jones, who is currently working toward a resolution in his ongoing case with USADA, is looking for the biggest fights possible when he gets the green light to return to the octagon.

Jon Jones knows that a trilogy fight with current “champ champ” Daniel Cormier is probably the biggest fight for him out there and he recently discussed the possibility of a third fight with “DC” taking place at heavyweight.

“I think fighting Daniel Cormier at heavyweight would be a bigger challenge,” Jones told a Russian News Outlet (via MMAJunkie). “He’s more comfortable there. His body type, that’s where he wants to be. He wants to be big. I think he would be a tougher fight at heavyweight, but I still believe I would win. I believe I have his number. I know how to beat him.”
